Problem routing ringtone to speaker

I chose SoundAbout as I wanted to be able to know about incoming calls even when the headset is plugged in and I am not around. The routing of ringtones to the speaker was the feature I was looking for. Everything works fine except that the volume of the ring through the speakers is so low that I am hardly able to hear it. I am using Nexus 4 Android 4.4.4.

Have you tried the latest Beta? It has more settings for ringer/notifications based on various audio outputs.
You can even true on Caller ID so that it will say the caller's name, but have the ringer turned off...etc.
