HTC Mini 2 Freezes

Hello

I have been using soundabout for quite some time now and never really had any issues. Until now. I updated to the latest version, I have the pro key installed. I emptied the cache and then restarted the phone after install. everytime I press on the sound about app button the phone just freezes. Nothing is shown on the screen and I cannot use the phone until I hit the 'home' button. it takes me to the home screen and I am unable to use soundabout.

What version of Android do you have?

I have android 4.4.2. I've never had any problems with it before.

i tried the latest beta version but same problem as OP. pro key freezes up main app.

EDIT: retried it. somehow it ran hahaha. although the sound wasn't routed to my chord mojo though. i'm using a zenfone 2 running stock lollipop. thank you

Are you using an OTG cable?
Are you setting the media audio setting to "USB Host"?

Yep. I am using an otg cable and setting SoundAbout to USB Host. My chord mojo only works via the USB Audio Player pro app. My zenfone 2 doesn't pipe the audio to the mojo from other sources like spotify, the youtube app, poweramp, mx player etc.

That USB Audio Player pro app has a special proprietary USB driver. Many phones don't have USB drivers and need an app like that.

You mentioned that you used SoundAbout before with no issues.

Were you using it for USB audio or that something you just tried?

Just to clarify, i just retried the app when it froze and it ran again. This is my first time to try SoundAbout as i was hoping this would fix my issue that my audio isn't routed to the mojo. Maybe zenfone 2 doesn't have usb drivers for audio?

It doesn't sound like the Zenfone has what you need to send the audio for any app.
