notification volume not working on bluetooth
Hi, S7 when android upgraded to 6.0.1, the notification volume over bluetooth is stuck too quiet to hear really well. Works fine if bt disconected. Tried the initial volume to 100 but that didn't work either. I have the latest bets loaded also.
Any ideas?

Re: notification volume not working on bluetooth
Is this for Bluetooth A2DP for media or Bluetooth mono for phone calls?
Are you trying to use the setting "Connectable devices" / "Bluetooth settings" / "Media audio behavior" / "Initial Media Volume" ?
There have been some changes / fixes just made for this. The setting is now split into volume for Media / Ringer / Notification.
This code is now in Google Play. You can also get it here:

Re: notification volume not working on bluetooth
Thanks,
Loaded the new beta, still not working. Turns out is is NOT the initial volume that is the problem. No matter what the notification volume is set at, the sound level is the same. But if I disconnect BT, then the speaker (or headphone) volume works as expected.
This was not a problem before android 6.0.1. O I have a S5 not a S7.
Thanks for your help here.

Re: notification volume not working on bluetooth
I have a S7 and noticed this as well. It is not SoundAbout causing the issue. When I set the initial volume for Bluetooth A2DP and then connect a device, I go into Android Settings / Sounds / Volumes and my volume does get set to 80% (as I have configured in SoundAbout). When I change the volume, in the Android settings, every setting, from 1% to 100% plays the volume at the save level. There must be some kind of bug in Android itself, or they are purposely playing the notifications at the same level for Bluetooth only.
