Nexus 4 - Earpiece Issues

Hello,

I have been using Nexus 4 and faced the issue where the earpiece will not work while we make phone calls. This issue has been encountered by lot of users. I installed soundabout application and unchecked the option wired headset detection as i got suggestion in a forum.

My issue has not been resolved yet. Any clue if I am doing anything wrong?

That option will only work, if the issue is that the phone "thinks" a headset is plugged in when it is not. I have had people un-check "wired headset detection" and have it not work until they reboot the phone. This is usually due to queued headset intents that need to be cleared out.
