Doesn't work with CS-Q8 + Minix NEO A2

The audio output is hijacked by NEO A2 airmouse.
I tried to set the media output to HDMI but it doesn't work. The audio output is redriected to usb airmouse everytime when airmouse USB is plugged in or machine is rebooted.
My Android Box is CS-Q8, airmouse I have tried both Minix NEO A2 and Mele F10 pro. Android version is 4.4.2.

Any idea how to solve it? Is it setting problem? Please help

It looks like plugging the USB is running code that forces the audio to be redirected to the AirMouse. Are you setting the Media Audio to "Aux Digital (HDMI)" before or after plugging in the USB?

I tried both, set media audio to aux digital HDMI before and after. Of course also tried to reboot the devise few time even reinstalled soundabout few times. I have even tried the AW80 firmware from Tronsmart on my devise but the problem is still there.
I got a reply from Minix, they declare that the firmware for their devise has a function where can enable/disable the sound from being redirected to the USB ports. But they don't give a shit for other devise.
Need you to help to work on this problem. I don't want to compromise with Minix!!!

Their device/software could be constantly checking the audio and put it back to go through USB/AirMouse. Did Minix say that the enable.disable ability is only on their newer devices?

No, I think they have updated their firmware to add "No output to USB audio" option few months back. Even the "old" devices have this function.

My devise is not Minix, mine is CS-Q8.

Oh, I see. It appears they may be routing the audio based on what is plugged in, so that SoundAbout can't switch the audio settings to use the Aux Digital (HDMI) audio output.

Will you be able to fix it in next release?

I don't think SoundAbout can get around it. It looks like device might be making the HDMI audio output unavailable, which is why that other device put in a firmware fix to allow audio to be routed through the HDMI.

Unfortunately the beta 2.6.1.1.1 doesn't fix the problem ;(. Really hope you can make it.

It may require an updated kernel and new ROM. I can go the root route because it would leave too many people out.
