Verizon Update for Note 3 is not Compatible for SoundAbout

Spoke with Verizon Tech support they said the app is not working with the new system update.

They said a patch should be in the works from you guys.

How long should it take? I use my phone to re route incoming calls to my surround sound using an audio jack. I am on call 24x7 and must be able to hear and answer phone calls at all times.

Since the system update on my Note 3 u have not been able to make it work.

Please Help!

What was updated on the Note 3? Is it a new version of Android?

Does SoundAbout even run?

If it runs, does it not route the audio?

It says the following :

Since the update I can no longer get phone calls to route thru my external speakers as I could before.

The phone is performing exactly how it did before I found soundabout.

You can still get media to play thru external speakers just not incoming calls notifications or alarm ringer.

It looks like that update updated the "radio" for the device. This controls WiFi, 3G, phone calls...etc.

I was wondering if you can open SoundAbout or do you get an error?

Can you try the latest Beta version:
1) Go into phone settings and click on Manage apps
2) Scroll to SoundAbout and click it.
3) Click on Clear cache, clear data, force stop, then un-install
4) Install latest Beta from here: https://soundabout.forumotion.com/f8-download-beta-versions
5) Restart the phone
6) Open SoundAbout

Unfortunately, no change.

Are you planning on releasing an update to resolve this issue?
