Galaxy Note 4; Android 5.0.1 All Audio Through Speaker Empty Galaxy Note 4; Android 5.0.1 All Audio Through Speaker

I recently upgraded my Note 2 to a Note 4 with Android 5.0.1. I have earphones with mic connected, Sound About Pro set to "Let App Decide" and while the music comes through the earphones, the notifications and ringtones go through the external speaker. Is this a bug with Lollipop?
