Note 4 stuck at "Phone speaker for media"

Hi. I've been trying to get audio throu USB to jvc headunit without much success. It has worked previously but not today.


Before soundabout install head unit picked up note 4 which launched default app but no uab audio. They played, just no sound.

After install default was throu phone speaker. Even after manual config I couldn't change output.... I didn't have Bluetooth, headset or hdmi to try.

Soundabout off, phone speaker audio off.

I've installed beta as well as flashed phone a number of times to try and reduce possible causes with no luck.

Does that make sense. It worked which may have been due to a custom rom and now back to stock rom with no joy.

It sounds like it may have been the custom ROM that made it work.  The kernel for that ROM may have had a USB audio driver that allowed it to work.  

Most phones also need an OTG Cable as well.
