Galaxy S5 - Cannot answer calls when headphones are plugged in

My Galaxy S5 (Lollipop) will not allow me to answer a call when I have headphones plugged in. I have to unplug the headphones, answer the call, plug the headphones back in to get it to work.

Sometimes I cannot swipe to answer the call (the phone is just unresponsive) or it allows me to swipe but it doesn't actually put the call through (the other party doesn't hear me answer and they get sent to voicemail).

I'd love some help. This keeps happening when my wife calls me. NOT good.

Sorry,  I haven't had time to reply.  I've been busy working on the new version.

There are some fixes for phone call issues.

I just uploaded it to the Google Play market.  You can get it now in the Beta section:

Thanks. I think the problem is fixed.

BUT ... I cannot make a call while the headphones are plugged in. The call just seems to "hang" saying that it's "Dialing" but the call never goes through (and it takes a long time for the phone to "come back").

The workaround is to make the call and THEN connect the headphones.

Any ideas?

Your built-in phone app must expect an audio output to be enabled even if you don't plan on using it (ear speaker). I will look at that.

You can look at my thread for a temp solution. I'm running on a Sprint Galaxy S5 with stock app.

Can you try the latest Beta version to see if it helps outgoing phone calls while using a Wired Headset?
