Android 6.0 on Nexus 5

With SoundAbout installed the DND function does not restore the phone volume when it deactivates.

If I uninstall SoundAbout the DND volume resumes as expected, there was no difference if Pro version was activated.

SoundAbout has been really useful in solving a headset sensing problem so I really want to use it, but the DND sound issue drives me nuts.

Is this for a wired headset or Bluetooth headset?

Are you using the "Alert behavior" / "Wired Headset behavior" / "Notifications To" setting?

By deactivate, do you mean when you unplug the headset?

Post the steps taken that cause this issue. If you are using some media player, include running, playing the music in the steps.

The DND problem doesn't involve the headset at all.

If I enable "Do not disturb" from the system pull down menu, ringtone sound is muted, if I then disable "Do not disturb" the ringtone sound remains muted if SoundAbout is installed, but returns to normal if SoundAbout is not installed.

Steps to reproduce.
1. Install Soundabout - no settings changed
2. Reboot phone
3. Enable DND
4. Disable DND

Ring volume is muted.

The only other app I have that loads on startup is Bria voip phone.

Can you try the latest Beta here.  Restart the phone after installing to start fresh.

With Beta 2.6.6.5 active the DND muted sound issue on media and ringtone seems still present when activating DND manually.

With SoundAbout switched off sound resumes as expected.

I have installed the latest beta. Manually activating/deactivating DND this version looks good, the ring volume is now working as expected.

The latest version seems to interfere with disabling the automated DND settings I have activating each night. Since the install I have to manually disable DND each morning. I am travelling at present but will keep testing and advise.

What settings are you using in the "Alert behavior" section? Do you have any settings that are set to (override)?

All settings are still the initial defaults

New versions have just been uploaded to Google play that will address various issues on Android 6+.
