Nexus 4 slimport

I use soundabout because my Nexus thinks it always has a headset plugged in. Using your app to disable headset detection works awesome. Thank you. My issue is that when I plug in the hdmi slimport adapter, it goes silent for a second, then routes audio to the phone speaker instead of through hdmi. This happens on every rom I have tried (pa, cm, sabermod, etc) except for one rom. On atom rom, audio goes to the hdmi as it should. After posting logcats to the various rom developers, it was suggested that the soundabout app has something to do with it.
