Licence verification wo/Google Play?

I have never been able to get Google play to run right on my Acer A 500 tablet. I have purchased a license and installed it on my tablet but SA will not see it.
Can SA verify my license on the tablet itself without going to Google Play to verify it?

No. Google does not allow have a free app that is paid for / licensed on another platform.

Sometimes the Google Play cache gets messed up. Try this:

1) Go into phone settings
2) Press on apps
3) Scroll to Google Play Store, and press it.
4) Press clear cache, clear data, force stop

4) Press clear cache, clear data, force stop, and uninstall.
5) Download the latest SoundAbout from Google Play.
6) Purchase SoundAbout Pro from Google Play.
7) Restart phone.

See if this clears it up.

Well the problem is I can't get Google Play to run on this device. Otherwise it wouldn't be a problem.
I've already purchased a license key for my other tablet that can run Google play. But I cant get this tablet to connect with the Play store so I guess I cant use your app on this device.

1) What version of Android is running on that Tablet?
2) Is the Date and Time set correctly on that tablet? (this can cause Google Play not to run correctly)

I didn't find any quick installs for Google Play on the Acer A500.

I did see a lot of threads about rooting the tablet to get things to work.

I have 2 Acer A500s both rooted with custom ROMs but one of them is anathema to Google Play.
I've never been able to figure why.

I wanted to make that one a dedicated music source into my USB DAC. Your very useful app made that possible but not for that particular device evidently. Your app works fine on my other A500. I just cant get it to run on the one I wanted to use for that purpose.

Got it. That is strange that Google Play won't run on one of the tablets.

Well I managed to get a working GPlay by going back to an Omni 4.4.4 ROM.

I was able to download and install the Pro version of your app on this tablet finally.
But now I can't get your app to work! Does 4.4.4 have USB audio out capability?

An older device may not be able to do USB audio. Typically android devices can do USB Client or USB host where they read or share files (that a radio may read from the device).

You may also need a USB On The Go (OTG) cable.
