Ringer won't play through speaker

I have a note 5 running lollipop. I have a set up for a2dp to play notifications only on the headset, but ringer on the phone speaker. But when I am connected it doesn't play the ringer on the speaker, it does nothing. The only fix I have found is to completely disable the app. Please help.

I also did install the latest beat, because it looked like it may fix it, but it did not.

SoundAbout can block the audio from the speaker or allow it to play on both Bluetooth A2DP and the speaker, but it can't "force" the notification to play on the speaker.

If the app, or the version of Android, on you phone is not sending the notification to the speaker, SoundAbout can't force that. It can just allow it to play if already being sent to the speaker.
