Basic 2.4.4 version vs Pro Key 1.1.7 version

Hello David -
 I last corresponded with you in late February about getting back version 2.4.4 to solve my problems at the time (see thread below). You sent the version, and I've been fine ever since, and have resisted installing any and all subsequent updates.
  I still have version 2.4.4 of SoundAbout, but today inadvertently updated the SoundAbout Pro Key to 1.1.7. Is there going to be a problem between these versions?  And is it still ok that the Pro Key icon does not open up when clicked on?
   Over the months, I've just been so leery of messing with my SoundAbout (both basic & Pro Key) versions which were working fine - I chose to decline all the released updates... so I hope I haven't unintentionally opened up a can of worms. So tell me, with SoundAbout 2.4.4 and Pro Key 1.1.7, am I ok?  And how do I know my Pro Key is still active?  As always David, thanks for your customer service.

It's hard to know for sure, but they should work together. You won't really know unless you clear the cache and data of SoundAbout so that it checks for the Pro Key again.

Well, I'll go to 'Manage Applications' and clear the cache and data of SoundAbout. For information's sake, what is the comparable Pro Key version for SoundAbout version 2.4.4?

..one more question: going forward, when updates are released, are version updates released for both SoundAbout AND the Pro Key or just for SoundAbout? Sorry for the "stupid" question- I've just been off the 'update train' for awhile...

and David, also - when tapping to open the Pro Key, all I get is "Checking for License Key" message at bottom of screen, and then it doesn't open- is this supposed to happen? How do I confirm my License Key is valid? Thanks!

Hello, first I have to say this app is awesome. One bug I have experienced is listening to Pandora through wired jack to the car stereo, it stops playing out through the wire and switches to phone speakers momentarily. It does this once every 10 to 15 minutes.

I don't release Pro key every time I release the main app.

For Pandora, see if SoundAbout 2.5.4.4 helps that issue. For a few issues I had changed the service to allow Android the ability to kill the service as Android 4.3 will show a notification for any app that doesn't do this.

Version 2.5.4.4 allows you to decide how to run the service. The default is always on.
