Unstable app switches Media Audio
Hello.
I installed this app because my phone stopped detecting my earphones and when I heard about this app, I decided to give it a try. It worked fine for the first 10 minutes but all of a sudden it started to stop my music and change the Media Audio set by me from Wired Headphones to Let App Decide. It does this every 2-3 minutes, it's pretty annoying, forcing me to uninstall the app and stop being able to play music on my phone.
Is there a fix for this issue? My phone is a Doogee Collo DG100 with Android 4.2.2.
Regards

Re: Unstable app switches Media Audio
The phone must "think" that a headset is being plugged in and out (lint in jack hole or loose connection).
Did you try the settings in these instructions?
https://soundabout.forumotion.com/t13-main-speaker-ear-speaker-and-or-microphone-not-working#1474
Also, instead of setting the Media audio to "Wired Headphones", leave it on "Let app decide". Then put a widget named "Headset toggle" on the home screen. Click it to turn wired headphones ON and OFF.
I just uploaded the Beta version the other day. The status bar settings are now merged with the SoundAbout service setting which simpler.
There are also new Alert/notification/ringer settings.
If you already have SoundAbout installed and you want to install the Beta, first go into phone settings, Manage apps, find SoundAbout and click it. Click Clear cache, clear data, force stop and un-install. Then install the new Beta fresh. I also usually restart the phone, just to start the services fresh as well.
The beta is here:

Re: Unstable app switches Media Audio
I got rid of that automatic switching in the latest Beta. I displays a reminder instead.
You may want to go into phone settings, Manage apps, find SoundAbout and click it. Then clear cache, clear data, force stop, un-install and install the Beta. Then restart the phone so that it starts fresh.

Let me know if the latest Beta solves your issue. I think the warning/reminder should be good enough.

Well I have to wait for the latest Beta to be updated to Google Play because my phone doesn't let me install that beta version for some reason.

You may have to go into Phone settings, then security, then check the "allow unknown sources" check box. After installing SoundAbout, you can recheck it. This check box allows you to install apps from outside the play store (from email attachments..etc).
