soundabout works only on factory reset Xperia z

Phone -Xperia z android jellybean 4.3
I can't get internal speaker/earpiece working.
I have purchased soundabout pro. It worked for last 3 months but since last 15 days routing call audio to earpiece not working. If I do factory reset app works but if I install/update a single application other than default and soundabout earpiece stops working.
Android Build number is 10.4.1.B.0.101.
Please help me out

That's odd that updating/installing any app causes the earpiece to no longer function. I wonder if the phone is receiving signals that a headset is plugged in (when no headset is present).

I've seen some other articles mentioning that the microphone might not work on Android 5.0 for the Sony.

To test if the earpiece is being disconnected, what happens if you set the "Media audio" setting to earpiece and play music (turned up). Can you hear any music through the earpiece?
