Notifications over Bluetooth Headset

I am trying to find out how to get my notifications (Mail, Texts, and anything incoming really...) to play through my Bluetooth headset. I currently have an HTC One and Motorola S10-HD Bluetooth Headset. I am sure I have tried all possible combinations in your app, but cannot get any of my Notifications to go through. This is while Media (Spotify) is and isn't playing. Any suggestions...?
