Bluetooth stops when headphone jack is used

The issue I am having is on my tablet running Android 4.4.2. We us this tablet at our store and need it to run music through Bluetooth and a credit card reader (PayPal, Square...) through the headphone jack. Unfortunately, whenever we plug into the headphone jack music stops playing on the Bluetooth, can SoundAbout resolve this?I have it downloaded but don't know if I am using it correctly.

You can install SoundAbout and try this:

1) Long press the home screen to add a widget
2) Add the SoundAbout "headset toggle" widget
3) You can press it to the ON setting to swipe a credit card.
4) You can press it again to OFF to continue with Bluetooth while leaving Square plugged in.
