SoundAbout Pro Installed- cannot launch SoundAbout on Andriod 4.4

Hello,

After upgrade to android M I have issue to launch soundabout when soundabout pro is installed. Without soundabout pro installed I can launch soundabout without any issue. I did cache cleaning/ reinstallation but didn't help.

I can provide log from catalog if this can help.

I have exactly the same problem on Android 4.4 on Motorola Razr xt925 after I purchased SoundAbout Pro

I am trying to reproduce with an older version as I can't reproduce with Android 5.0+.

I tried reproducing an error on a 4.4 emulator, but It seem to work fine. I will try to make a version that pops up messages to try and track down where it it failing. If you install this version, you just watch for messages and write them down and report back.

I will delete the other thread on this issue, since everyone is on this thread.

First "before calling google play" dialog appears and then nothing happens. An invisible layer seems to cover the foreground, I touch everywhere on the screen and nothing respond until I press the "back" or "home" button.

OK, so that code calls SoundAbout Pro and starts it if it is stopped. Did you install SoundAbout or SoundAbout Pro on a SD Card?

It looks like SoundAbout can't call into SoundAbout Pro. Do you have any kind of task killer app that would kill the SoundAbout Pro background process?

It only runs when needed, but sometimes those task killer apps stop more than they should.

you mean apps like CLEANMASTER? I don't use in my phone taskillers. I will try with the new app and I write again

It seems that SoundAbout Pro won't run in the background if no other messages are displaying.
If you go into the phone settings / app (Manage Apps)/ , and scroll to SoundAbout Pro.

Click on SoundAbout Pro. Is the Force Stop button enabled or disabled (not running)?

Sound about pro key v1.2.4 is not running. The force button state is disabled.

OK,  so SoundAbout main app is supposed to start the SoundAbout Pro so that it can call Google Play.   The version I sent you should pop up messages right away. It's not even getting that far.

I just uploaded new versions for both the main and Pro. You many have to clear cache and data and un-install first. Then install these.

I deleted the cache and uninstall the application. Also the license. I rebooted the phone and install the new version. Still without starting the application

Wow,  I actually found something that could have been the issue.  I don't know what the issue is because we aren't seeing a specific error.  It's like the SoundAbout Pro app isn't even installed.

The app works in Trial mode, so it's not the SoundAbout main app. I will have to look to see if any security requirements changed that would cause it not to run. That's the only thing left to check.

the current state in force button in the SoundAbout pro key is disabled yet.

SoundAbout Keep running in the background, it's not stopped. Example: the application icon cannot open the main menu, ok? I uninstall the license. I set the trial version to routing the sound by bt mono Headset and after reinstall the license, it's continues sends the sound if I connect the BT headset

I have news for you. I was trying some things and I could get launch the application with the installed pro license. Although, so I realize, it's the trial version yet. I did the following: I ran through a plugin on Tasker (Secure Settings) the following method SoundAbout.ui.activity.PreferencesActivity and then... the main application menu just appeared! Now I load a screen capture to show you what I get.
