Caller id not working thru BT

Hi,

I purchased the pro version of this app hoping that the ringtone and caller id reading will come thru the Bluetooth headset. However that does not happen. The sms does read thru the headset which was not happening earlier. Also media flows thru the headset now.

I use Samsung Galaxy Note II with Android version 4.1.2. I had read that the Android had this bug where notifications and ringtone do not sound thru the BT headset and read that your app resolves it hence went for the pro version.

Can you please help me if I am missing something?

Old post. SoundAbout has new Caller ID settings built in. Even with its own setting, sending caller id to a Bluetooth headset when the phone is ringing can not happen. Android sends a signal to the Bluetooth headset to make tell it a a phone call is coming in. The headset responds in its own way which is determined by the manufacturer. While this is occurring, no audio can be sent from the phone to the Bluetooth headset. The manufacturer can build something into the headset and write an app to do this. That is the only way it will work.
