Not Working on Galaxy S6 Empty Not Working on Galaxy S6

So I used soundabout along with the mixlr app on my galaxy s4 all the time in the past to stream live audio from a soundboard in through the trrs jack and it worked flawlessly. Now with my Galaxy S6 I cannot get it to work. According to samsung the jack configuration hasn't changed. I'm using the same exact settings and cable and cannot get audio into the phone. (I have tried it on two different S6's). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
