TTS over alarm channel
Is there a possibility to redirect TTS over the alarm channel instead of the audio channel when BT is connected.
This would completely eliminate the BT delay problem. I tried the same setup with Tasker and it really worked.

Re: TTS over alarm channel
I'll explain my test environment:
Samsung Galaxy S3
Sony SBH20 bluetooth device connected
1. No Soundabout drivers installed. (Not important for this test setup)
2. JetAudio player is playing over the media channel (sound can be adjusted via the media volume slider)
3. I made a task in 'Tasker' which did the following
a. Decrease the media volume.
b. Set a fixed alarm volume.
c. Give a TTS command to the Google or Samsung TTS engine over the 'alarm channel' (NOT the media channel)
Please note that in Tasker I unchecked the 'Respect Audio Focus' option so Tasker does not do anything (Stop and/or Start) with the media player.
d. Increase the media volume.
What happens here is that the media volume is decreased (but audio is playing on over the media channel), TTS is invoked over the alarm channel (with absolutely no delay) and the media volume is increased again.
Because the media player is not stopped and started and the TTS audio is going over another channel evrything goes completely smooth without any delays.
