phone call earpiece not working

I had a problem on my galaxy s4 were i wasnt able to hear anything when i made a phone call but if i recorded something it worked perfectly. I downloaded your free app and it started working perfectly so i went to pro. I made one phone call and it went back to the same problem, i have the app running on foreground and it says the phone speaker is being used in media. I have restarted the phone and still nothing !

You may have an issue where the phone randomly detects that a headset is plugged in when it is not.

I did that and still nothing

If you tried the new Beta, did you clear the cache and clear the data before uninstalling the old version? It's strange that it would behave differently as the pro version just enables settings.

I have a similiar problem. Have a Galaxy S4 that got water into the wired headset jack. The phone kept reporting that a wired headset was connected. I tried the free version and it worked for the problem. but then the problem emerged again (after a months time) and I bought the PRO version to get rid of it, since it worked in the free version. But it does not work now and the phone drains the battery by turning on the display, showing or hiding the icon for headset connected and adjusting the sound.

Please advice

What might be happening now is that the phone may be sending the headset signal rapidly; causing SoundAbout to attempt keeping up.

I know it was water, but have you tried searching on cleaning out the headset jack? The water may have clumped some lint down in the headset jack hole.

I can not get built-in earpiece to work.
I've tried enable/disable Wired Headset detection, Setting call audio to earpiece.

Interestingly, if I downgrade to Android 4.1.2 everything works perfect (except camera)
Any ideas?

That could be a kernel issue if downgrading is fixing the issue. What kernel/version is used for 4.4.2 versus 4.1.2 for the ROM that you are using?

If you sent the media audio to earpiece and play music, can you hear the music coming from the earpiece?

I have purchased soundabout pro it worked for last 3 months but since last 15 days routing call audio to earpiece not working. If I do factory reset app works but if I install/update a single application other than default and soundabout earpiece stops working
Build number is 10.4.1.B.0.101
Please help me out
