Can't make calls

Hi,

I have an S4,i listen to music through the aux cable and have the phone connected to bluetooth for calls. I've been doing this for quite some time without any problems. However recently I've had to reboot my phone each time I want to make a call whether BT is on or not. Previously returned phone to VZW because I thought it was the phone. Now it's doing it on the brand new one as well. Help!?!

Have you gotten any new Android updates lately?

Some phones need to disconnect the wired headset during a phone call. In the new Beta, if you go into the SoundAbout "Connectable devices" and then "Bluetooth Settings", and then "Phone call behavior", is the "Disable wired audio" setting checked?

Yes, can still only make calls sporadically once I reboot.

I am ripping the app apart now so that I can make it easier to debug each setting .

Has the app changed at all recently? It worked for years and then suddenly stopped working with my stereo.

It could be that an Android update has done something to make the app no longer work. Sometimes these updates do more harm than good.

I'll have to update one of my phones to see if I see a difference.

I ended up buying a new radio for my car. This one streams audio whereas the other did not. I think plugging on the headphones was messing things up.
