SoundAbout 2.6.2.1 TTS issue on Galaxy S6

Hi,

I recently got a Galaxy S6 with Android 5.0.2. When I go into Android TTS settings in SoundAbout, it shows Default language status "checking". It keeps showing that and never finds the status. One time it did show up, but it said English United States is not supported. Since I saw it that one time, I don't see it anymore. It just says checking. If I then try to click on the gear, SoundAbout just closes with no error or anything. I then can't go back into it without first force closing it. Otherwise, it appears to be opening and just closes. I've already tried clearing data and cache, force closing, uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling, and then restarting again, but that didn't help.
