Audio and Notification simultaneously

I'm thinking about buying the pro. Is there a way to set it so that when I am listening to a podcast on Podcast Addict and I receive a text message notification, the playback of the podcast doesn't fade out, play the notification, and fade back in?
I would rather have the notification play simultaneously with the podcast or have the notification play through the phone speaker while the podcast is playing through my headphones without interruption.
