Switching to/from headphones enables priority notifications

My phone is a rooted Verizon Samsung Galaxy s5, running lollipop. I have SA Pro, the newest version from Google Play.

My settings in soundabout are set to redirect notifications to the headphones alone when they are plugged in, and returning to normal when unplugged. No normal silent mode used. But anytime I unplug the headphones, priority notifications are on. I dont like the feature, since it causes me to miss important notifications. I'd rather not remove SA, but I cant keep missing important notifications if I forget to turn priority notifications on.

Let me know if there is any info/logs/etc that will help, or if there's a quick fix (I dont mind getting my hands a bit dirty with system files)
