I actually WANT double voice

I have a note 3 and Toyota eentune bluetooth streaming. When streaming music I want to hear navigation try in car speaker. When listening to car radio I want them to come from phone speaker. I don't want to switch manually while driving so I actually want double voice. Is there a setting to do that?

I finally figured out that switching to your try engine allowed GMaps to come from speaker of phone while still allowing bluetooth streaming. I wish a2dp were louder but I doubt there is much you can do about that.

You can also have the Navigation go through the SoundAbout Text-To-Speech engine and send the audio via Bluetooth mono. This allows you to listen to the radio, but still have directions come through the car speakers. This will fake a phone call to the car. It will stop the car radio, play the directions and turn the car radio back on. If you want the radio to play along with TTS, then yes, having the directions come through the phone speaker is the way to go.

I tried this but couldn't get tty to come through unless I switched from radio to bluetooth. Now I have double voice and I see why people hate it. Both voices come from same source and overlap. I wish bluetooth mono would cause sound to come through radio but no dice. I have the Toyota Entune system in case that explains it.

Using your directions I fixed double voice but I just can't get sound to come through radio. Car must somehow know it isn't a phone call. Do media settings affect this. I am sure I got the tty settings right. Max utterance 2 with a 2 second delay. Soundabout chosen as voice engine.

I finally got it to "work" but in my car once connected to bluetooth mono screen switches out of radio to phone scree. Says call in progress. And never switches back to radio. Now every time I get in my car I get the phone in progress screen.

What is the "Media Audio" setting on? If it is on Bluetooth mono, then it would make sense that the phone tries to communicate with the car as soon as you start the car up.

Also, The latest Beta works better with car Bluetooth and faking phone calls.

You may want to go into phone settings, Manage apps, find SoundAbout and click it.  Then clear cache, clear data, force stop, un-install and install the Beta.  Then restart the phone so that it starts fresh.

I did choose Bluetooth mono because directions said to if you want tty to interrupt car radio. I can't sideload apps so i'll have to wait until beta is the updated version in playstore.

Sorry, I meant did you have the "Media audio" in the main SoundAbout screen set to "Bluetooth mono". I wasn't referring to the Text-To-Speech screen. You do want the "Media audio" set to Bluetooth mono in the Text-To-Speech screen

OK, if you have Bluetooth A2DP in the car that is fine.

To install the Beta, you would have to allow "unknown sources", install the Beta and then put "unkwown sources" back (if you want).
