Can no longer hear phone calls

I have been using Soundabout for almost 2 years to solve a problem with car Bluetooth. I am on a Samsung Galaxy S4 android version 4.4.
Soundabout worked great solving Bluetooth issue, unit.....

Just today I ran into a problem. I was making a call on my cell phone, not through Bluetooth, and could not hear anything. After reboot and other troubleshooting, I found that soundabout was activating (event though Bluetooth was off) and the only way to hear my phone call was by pushing Speaker button on dialer.
When I turned off soundabout (has been on autorestart till now) my phone works correctly.

Please help.

Could a Bluetooth phone device been nearby that the phone was connected to?

Do you have the latest Beta? Can you download it here and respond back with the results:

No i even turned off bluetooth connectivity and same problem
