Notifications during call

Hi all,

I'm using an app when in the car that warns me for speed control (yes it's legal here)
When I was using the original Samsung TW Rom it worked like this. No call the warning was played over the phone speaker, during a call the notification was played via BT over the speakers.

I'm now using an AOSP Rom and now there is no notification at all during a call. Is there a way to use SoundAbout force notifications notification to be played via BT over the car speakers. Or as a second best over the phone speaker.

The app has the option to select the following audio channels for the notifications, Alarm, Notifications, Ringtones and Music.
I'm driving an Audi with an MMI G2 system, and using SoundAbout Pro.

When you are on a call, are you using a Bluetooth headset for the phone call?

Are you on a call using the phone ear speaker and the notification is played via BT over the speaker using Bluetooth media (A2DP)?

I'm using the MMI system via a Bluetooth Headset profile to make the call.
AFAIK the MMI G2 system doesn't support A2DP.

It is actually not normal to get notification over Bluetooth when in a phone call. That ROM or kernel was doing something special. Unfortunately, SoundAbout has to work for non-rooted phones, so I can't get into that.
