Android auto and USB audio

Just installed a new Kenwood car receiver with Android auto.  The only way to get sound in Android auto mode is to have a *compatible phone" that properly routes the sound using USB audio.  And apparently my Samsung Note 4 is not.  I tried with someone`s else HTC phone and it worked well.  My question is:  can SoundAbout do the required audio routing?  I tried many combinations and didn't succed.  My other concern is that it's mentionned "some features work only with the Pro version".  I just want to try before buying!  thanks

USB can be tricky as there are varying drivers for the different phones.

The latest Beta has new widgets including a USB microphone (audio input) widget that you can put on the home screen.

If you clear the cache of SoundAbout and re-install the latest Beta, you can test for another two days.

1) Go into phone settings
2) Press on apps
3) Scroll to SoundAbout, and press it.
4) Press clear cache, clear data, force stop. Un-install.
5) Install the latest version here:

Unfortunately the Beta version hasn't changed anything.  Let's blame it on the phone

Got the problem solved. Had to reset the phone to factory default. So it's not the phone but some application the breaks it...

New versions have just been uploaded to Google play that will address various issues on Android 6+.

Can you try the latest Beta located here (need a login to the message board). There is also Betas for SoundAbout and SoundAbout Pro.
